This year we are celebrating the 75th Anniversary of H.M.S. Windrush arriving in Great Britain with an exhibition and performance arena.

Our Party with a Purpose began in 2011 and ran for five years. On June 26th 2022, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and all that is great about Luton, our annual community festival returned, spanning from Marsh House to the Pavilion and Sportsfield.

Last year’s Midsummer Jubilee festival in June saw almost 1000 residents attend during the day and was visited by many of Luton and Bedfordshire’s VIPs. H.M Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Hellen Nellis and one of her deputies, Deborah Inskip, H. M Vice Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire, Morcea Walker and the Mayor of Luton, planted nine trees with local residents and our Piece by Peace Community Hub and Garden was launched.

We are excited to announce that the doors open for this year’s festival on Sunday, July 2nd, at 1pm at Leagrave Park, (Sundon Park) and we intend for this year’s event to be bigger and better as we raise funds to continue running our Sundon Park Community hub.
